Legal Advocacy
Our program is dedicated to ensuring that the rights and best interests of students and their families are effectively represented in truancy proceedings. Driven by expertise and a deep commitment to justice, our team is further supported by a remarkable network of pro bono attorneys who bring passion and dedication to their advocacy roles.
How Does Legal Advocacy Work?
Pro Bono Partnerships
We are honored to have long-standing partnerships with the Georgia Bar Foundation, the Atlanta Bar Association, and renowned law firms such as Alston & Bird, King & Spalding, and Troutman Pepper. These partnerships are essential, enabling us to leverage a vast array of legal expertise and resources. The pro bono work contributed by these organizations and firms is invaluable, providing top-notch legal support and mentorship to the families we assist.
Our Approach
Legal Representation
In Fulton County, we offer expert legal representation to students in truancy proceedings, ensuring their perspectives are heard and their rights defended.
Advocacy
Our advocacy efforts focus on achieving fair outcomes, navigating the complexities of the legal system on behalf of our students.
Mentorship
Thanks to our legal partners, students and families receive mentorship that extends beyond the courtroom, offering guidance and support through the legal process. Our students don’t just receive legal assistance but are also supported by mentors who are invested in their future success.
